The Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has approved the employment of 2,670 graduates of Degree, Diploma and NCE in the state.
The governor made the approval on Wednesday in Damaturu.
According to the governor, the approval will ensure that the graduates secure employment while filling existing gaps required for efficient service delivery in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the spokesperson to the governor, Mamman Mohammed in Damaturu.
According to the statement, the breakdown of the beneficiaries include 890 University Degree graduates, 890 Higher National Diploma and National Diploma holders, and 890 National Certificate of Education graduates.
Mohammed added that the beneficiaries were drawn across the 178 political wards of the 17 local government areas in the state.
Buni urged the beneficiaries to justify the appointment with commitment and dedication for enhanced service delivery in the state.
"The government has provided all parts of the state with equal opportunity and sense of belonging and ownership of governance.
"We are all stakeholders that have contributions to make to the development of our dear state", he said.
He further assured that his administration would continue to provide opportunities for people that will pave way for development of the state.
