Governor Fintiri launches groundbreaking event for flyover b

Adamawa Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two flyover bridges in Yola, the state capital.

During the groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, the Governor explained that the 7-span flyover bridge along Yola – A. A. Lawan Junction and Half Cloverleaf Interchange at Yola-Numan Road "are crucial for completing the superhighway initiated last year."

Muhammad B. Tukur, the governor's New Media aide in a statement said if completed, the number of flyover bridges in the state constructed by Governor Fintiri will be five.

The governor further emphasized that: "These projects will enhance the city's aesthetics and provide convenience to commuters."

He equally highlighted the increasing pressure on urban facilities due to the state's rapid expansion and growing investments. 

On his part, the lawmaker representing Yola North in the State House of Assembly, Suleiman Alkali applauded Fintiri for his effort in decongesting the state traffic.

Also speaking, the State Commissioner of Works and Energy Development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar noted that the projects are a testament to the governor's commitment to bringing development to the state. 

Meanwhile, the Project Manager of Triacta Nigeria Limited pledged to ensure timely completion and quality execution of the projects.
