Governor Makinde Commends LAUTECH Over Campus Development

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has lauded the management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) for the ongoing development strides in the institution's Ogbomosho and Iseyin campuses.

Makinde expressed satisfaction while receiving members of the e Governing Council and Management of the institution who were on an official visit to him on Tuesday in Ibadan.

The Governor said his administration is committed to focusing on the challenges hindering the university from becoming the first choice in Nigeria.

He urged the students and staff of the school to relentlessly aim for the best.

In his address earlier, the  Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Prof. Deji Omole, who spoke on behalf of the LAUTECH community, thanked the Governor and his administration for his benevolence and sincerity of purpose, especially to LAUTECH.

Omole vowed to encourage the workers in the institution to be committed to pushing for greater development and consequently achieving the dreams of the university's founders.
