Governor Yahaya Commissions Healthcare Facility In Tumfure

The governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commissioned a healthcare facility in Tumfure, Akko Local Government Area of the state.

The healthcare facility was provided to the community by the Member representing Akko Federal Constituency, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo.

At the commissioning ceremony, Governor Yahaya commended the lawmaker for the project.

He noted that the lawmaker's gesture was complementing his administration's efforts in ensuring universal health coverage across the state. 

Yahaya said: “No government can solely shoulder people’s needs and demands at a time, therefore governments at various levels need to collaborate for consolidated development in all facets of life”.

The governor further called on the people of Akko and the state to support all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels.

He said voting for the APC would consolidate the provision of good governance and dividends of democracy. 

As contained in a statement by the spokesperson to the governor, Ismaila Uba Misilli on Monday after the commissioning, the governor urged the electorates in the constituency to support the lawmaker in the forthcoming general elections.

He described the lawmaker as "a grassroots politician and effective lawmaker who puts the interest of his people first".

Governor Yahaya also called on other politicians across the state to emulate the lawmaker. 

Meanwhile, in his remark, Hon. Kumo revealed that the new Tumfure healthcare facility is the ninth he has provided for his constituents.

He stressed that his motivation to embark on the projects was derived from the Gombe state governor.
