A Northern group of the Fulani extraction Normadic Pastoralists and the Almajiri Communities has obtained the Presidential nomination and expression of interest forms for former president Goodluck Jonathan.
The group of supporters on Monday paid for expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the party’s 2023 presidential ticket.
Jonathan has been rumoured to be interested in returning as Nigeria’s President in the weeks with Nigerians divided over the development.
It is noted that about 26 aspirants are already in the race to contest for the party’s presidential ticket at its primary convention scheduled to hold from May 30 to June 2.
