Gubana Congratulates Emir On Son's Wedding

The Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Idi Barde Gubana has congratulated the Emir of Fune, Alh. Saleh idrissa Ibn Usman on the wedding of his son, Barr. Aliyu Saleh Idrissa Ibn Usman.

The wedding was joined with daughter of the Borno State All Progressives Congress (APC) Treasurer, Saidu Baba on Saturday. 

The Deputy Governor said that one of the most challenging tasks for parents is providing proper upbringing for their children.

Gubana further explained that parents should nurture, educate and train their children to the best of their ability before moving to their matrimonial Homes.

The wedding Fatiha was conducted between Barr. Aliyu Mai Saleh idrissa and Aisha Saidu Baba at the Palace of Mai Tikau, Alh. Abubakar shuwa Ibn Grema in Sabon Garin Nangere.

The Emir of Fika who stood up as the representative of the groom, presented the sum of N200,000 to Emir of Tikau who was the representative of the bride, Aisha Saidu Baba as her dowry.

This was contained in a statement by the spokesperson to the deputy governor, Hussaini Mai Suleh on Saturday. 

The speaker, Yobe state House of Assembly, Ahmad Lawan Mirwa, Deputy speaker, Hon mohammed Auwal and Hon Zakariyya Yau Galadima member House of Representatives, APC State executives, Commissioners and several members of the state House of assembly attended the wedding Fatiha.

The Emirs of Fika, Damaturu, Pataskum, Jajere and Ngelzarma as well as Emir of Kaltungo, Engr Saleh Mohammad Umar, Deputy Chairman Gombe Council of traditional rulers were also at the venue of the occasion.
