Gunmen Abduct 4 Family Members Of Adamawa District Head

Gunmen have abducted family members of the district head of Mayo-Farang, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa state.

The four members of the family were abducted after the gunmen overpowered the security guards at the house.

The incident was confirmed by Adamawa State Command's police public relations officer, DSP Sulaiman Yahaya Nguroje.

Njoroge said they were abducted at the family house at Yolde Pate in Yola South local government area.

He added that the gunmen came in numbers between 1 and 2 am on Tuesday before abducting their victims.

The district head, Sarkin Noman Adamawa, Ardo Mustapha Ahmadu relocated to Yolde Pate following his kidnap last year.

Sources revealed that the district head might have been the main target but was lucky to be away during the attack.
