Gunmen Kidnap IMT Student In Enugu

A student of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu, identified as Stanley Ogwo has been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.

He was kidnapped Thursday on his way to school from his Emene residence.

A close family source confirmed that the OND final student was on his way to school when he was abducted in the commercial bus he boarded.

Details of the kidnap were still sketchy at the time of this report but our source revealed that the family has been contacted.

The father of the victim Godwin Ogwo, a staff of Radio Nigeria Enugu, said the bandits contacted him through his son’s handset.

“They merely asked if we are ready to comply; I was confused and I switched off the phone.”
