PZ Cussons Plc has recorded a profit before tax of N9.28 billion for the half year 2022, representing a 210 per cent increase from the N2.99 billion the company recorded during the same period in 2021.
For the half year 2022, the company recorded a revenue of N57.26 billion, compared to the N47.08 billion it reported in 2021.
During the period, there was also a 19 per cent increase in gross profit as the company recorded N13.56 billion in H1 2022, compared to N11.39 billion recorded in H1 2021.
Net profit after tax grew to N7.66 billion in the half year 2022 from N2.57 billion in the half year 2021, which reflects a 198 per cent increase.
According to the company, the increase in profit before tax was due to the sale of non-core residential property at Ikoyi, Lagos State.
