Haaland Beats Fati, Sancho To Win Golden Boy 2020 Award

Borussia Dortmund Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland has won the Golden boy award beating other young stars like Barcelona Ansu Fati, teammate Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, and treble winner, Alphonso Davies.

Haaland is only 20 and has already commanded a 20 million Euros transfer fee to German side Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January.

The trophy is given out by newspaper Tuttosport after an intensive voting process including a panel of global experts to players under 21 which is most likely to break out star.

Apart from last season's performance scoring 28 goals and 5 assists for Salzburg and 16 goals with 2 assists for Dortmund in just a season, for the 2020-21 season, he has scored 11 goals and 3 assists for Dortmund.

Before he is 21, he has already been at the top of the wishlist of top clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and even Chelsea.
