Marquee signing Erling Haaland broke the Premier League hat-trick record as he continued his goalscoring adventure to help Manchester City to a 6-0 win over Newly-promoted Nottingham Forest.
The Norwegian forward went home with the match ball last weekend against Crystal Palace and now he would be heading home with another on Wednesday.
Haaland gave City the lead in the 12th minute after finishing off a pass from English international Phil Foden.
He quickly added the second following a quick counterattack involving Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden, he added the finishing touch to the move to increase City's lead.
Haaland completed his 19-minute hat-trick with a glancing header after John Stones header flashed across the goal post.
Joao Cancelo made it four with a thunderous finish from the edge of the box.
New signing Julian Alvarez scored a second-half brace to complete the rout.
Manchester City have now scored 19 goals in five Premier League matches, with Erling Haaland scoring nine of them.
The defending champions will be back in Premier League action with a trip to struggling Aston Villa on Saturday.
