Norwegian striker Erling Haaland will miss his country's international fixture against Spain in Malaga on Saturday after sustaining a groin injury during Manchester City's win over Burnley.
Although the issue is believed to be mild, he will be unavailable for the upcoming international break and is set to be replaced by Alexander Sorloth of Real Sociedad.
Meanwhile, Spain will be without Pedri and Gerard Moreno, who have pulled out of the squad, and Unai Simon, who was left out due to a prior injury.
Despite the absence of Haaland, Spain manager Luis de la Fuente will face a tough challenge in his first assignment, with the team having made 15 changes from their World Cup squad.
They will be looking to make a strong start against Norway and Scotland, their only matches before the Final Four of the Nations League this summer.
