‘He Raped And Promised To Marry Me’, Ex-Queen Of Iwo Makes Revelation About Oluwo

‘He Raped And Promised To Marry Me’, Ex-Queen Of Iwo Ma

Since the news of their marriage split hit their social media space, more revelations have continued to emerge on Chanel Chin and her ex-husband, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Adewale Akanbi.

In a new report online, Chin narrated how she met the monarch, while also accusing Oba Akanbi of raping her.

According to the Jamaican who spoke in an interview with GIO TV, the renowned monarch had raped her on the claims that no one says no to a king.

She said they had met on three different occasions, but they were properly introduced to each other by a popular Lagos monarch.

“It was a popular Lagos monarch that introduced me to him again properly. He said we were both from Toronto and that the Oluwo was single.

Narrating how she was raped, the former queen of Iwo said: “We all had fun and I had a little too much to drink. I went upstairs to one of the rooms to sleep. At about 3am, I woke up to find the Oluwo ontop of me. I was naked. I tried to get him off me but he stayed put, saying he’s a king and no one says no to a king in his culture. He said I was going to be his wife and I would have a good life.

“I am saying this because the Oluwo has been going about telling people that I was a prostitute from Toronto and that he didn’t know me. He also claimed he slept with me on the first night.

“Tell people the truth. Tell them that you raped me while I was resting in one of the rooms after I had too much to drink.

“The day I met him was the day my life changed drastically. I met him February 2nd, 2016. His coronation was January 16th, 2016. One month later, I missed my period. I had my baby in November 2016. Do the math.

“He raped me. He took me back to Iwo with him because of what he had done and said he was going to marry me,” she said.

Recall that earlier in January, a statement issued by Chief Press Secretary, Oluwo Palace, Alli Ibraheem, read that the Oluwo said he and Chanel were leaving each other due to an irreconcilable difference.
