Controversial singer Portable has shaded Goya Menor for winning the ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ award at the 15th edition of The Headies.
Goya Menor's ‘Ameno Amanpiano (Remix)’ featuring Nektunez beat the likes of Bella Shmurda's ‘Cash App’ featuring Zlatan & Lincoln, Rexxie & Mohbad's ‘Kpk’, Mohbad's ‘Feel Good’ and Naira Marley's ‘Koleyewon’.
Portable's viral hit single “Zazoo Zehh” was also nominated in this category but he was disqualified for claiming affiliation with the infamous crime group known as "1 Million Boys" and threatening to kill his fellow nominees if he didn't win.
He was also disqualified from the second category he was nominated in which is the ‘Rookie of the Year’.
Shading Goya Menor, Portable took to his Instagram on Monday to question the singing prowess of the ‘Ameno Amanpiano (Remix)’ hitmaker.
According to Portable, Menor has not put out another hit single since he released ‘Ameno Amanpiano (Remix)’.
“Wetin concern me with person wey dem give street artiste of the year?
"Which song you sing? You sabi sing? Since when you don sing that song, you sing another one wey blow?”, Portable said in pidgin English.
