Helping Nigerian Youths Overcome Barriers To Entrepreneurship With Tech Documentary

In today's tech revolution, a painful reality of a youth's life is when they realise they have got potential that helpers cannot discover and promote before it is too late. This may yet be the story of many highly resourceful and talented youths whose talents are obscured by their backgrounds and locations.

To this end, the United States Consulate in Lagos and Ingressive for Good, an ed-tech, have announced a collaboration to premiere a tech documentary. 

According to the partners, the documentary film titled, ‘Finding Tech: Against all Odds’ would have its premiere screening in April in Lagos. 

They noted that the documentary would highlight the personal journeys of Nigerian youths who have faced and surmounted hurdles in their lives because of a lack of access to resources, opportunities, and finance.

In a statement, the Public Affairs Officer at the US Consulate General in Lagos, Joseph Kruzich, said, “We are excited to showcase the power of technology and its role in creating a better future for all.

“We are really inspired by the work Ingressive for Good is doing in the country and the continent.

“Watching this film was inspiring, and we hope it will inspire the next generation of tech innovators and problem solvers.”

The film’s producer and Co-founder of Ingressive for Good, Blessing Abeng, added, “We are thrilled to partner with the US Consulate to bring this important film to the public.

Indeed, Ingress for Good deserves all the pats on the back it can get for championing several tech capacity development initiatives in Nigeria over the past couple of years.
