Actors Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill, and Idris Elba are reportedly being considered to play British spy James Bond following Daniel Craig's retirement.
Per a Variety report, the actors' names have been mentioned in connection with the role, with James Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli stating that it would take some time to find Craig's replacement.
"It's a big decision. It’s not just casting a role. It’s about a whole rethink about where we’re going. I’m just here celebrating one of the greatest actors on the planet, Daniel Craig", she said.
Tom Hardy is known for playing the Eddy Brock/Venom in the Sony movie. He also portrayed Batman's nemesis Bane in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
Henry Cavill gained international recognition when he was cast as DC's Superman; a role that has made him one of Hollywood's most desirable stars.
British actor Idris Elba would be the first black Bond if he gets the part. Known for his towering height and acting prowess, he played the character of Heimdall in the MCU.
