It is just seven days to the N-Power protest, organized by the 36 States and FCT N-Power Representatives Forum.

Recall the forum had on March 16 in a statement signed by Kabiru Aliyu Pelemi, its National President, vowed to mobilise 500, 000 Nigerian youths to occupy the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria. N-Power Unpaid Stipends: Minister’s Aide, Nneka Ikem Is Lying, No Proof We’ve Been Cleared For Payment - Beneficiaries (EXCLUSIVE)

Numerous beneficiaries of the Nigerian government’s N-Power initiative are saying that contrary to what was claimed by Nneka Ikem, the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, that hundreds of Batches A and B beneficiaries have been cleared for payment of their 5-month arrears of their stipends, they are yet to receive or see any evidence.

Ikem early Wednesday morning posted on her known Twitter handle that 8,900 N-Power beneficiaries out of the 14, 200 owed volunteers have been cleared for stipends’ settlement. Read more here.

One week two days after Nneka Ikem Anibeze, the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development announced on her known Twitter handle that 8, 900 N-Power Batches A and B beneficiaries have been cleared for payment of their 5 months arrears of their stipends, AllNews independent findings revealed that the erstwhile volunteers have not gotten paid - till now.
