Our findings revealed that stipends settlement is often not timely since Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria took over Nigeria's National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs) role in August 2019. Despite the promise by Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria, to pay all outstanding stipends of exited N-Power beneficiaries before the end of 2020, the Nigerian youths are still yet to get paid - 153 days after her pledge.
