Hollywood Star Dwayne Johnson To Receive Trailblazer Award

Hollywood actor and former wrestler Dwayne Johnson is set to receive the Trailblazer Award for his philanthropy.

Since his transition to Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson has become one of the industry's most bankable stars, with several of his movies becoming box office hits.

Johnson's charisma, charm, and imposing stature have shone onscreen, and his addition to franchises has seen them get major boosts in terms of financial grosses.

The actor shared the news on his Instagram page, noting how special the award is to him and expressing gratitude for the honour and recognition.

His words, "This one is very special to me and I'm deeply honoured and even more so - deeply grateful this high honour from the @hollywoodcriticsassociation."

Speaking on the award, the Hollywood Critics Association Chairman, Scott Menzel, said, "Dwayne Johnson epitomizes everything our Trailblazer Award stands for."
