Senator Barau Jibrin, a political rival of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s Gubernatorial Office has been vandalized on Wednesday night by yet to be identified persons.
The campaign office was burned to ashes by heavily armed hoodlums, who later proceded to Gyadi Gyadi quarters where Ahmadu Zago, Factional APC Chairman is set to open his state Party Secretariat.
The State Police Commissioner Ismaila Dikko confirmed the incidence and said investigation has since been launched.
“We are already in control of the situation, and my men have fully taken over the place. We are investigating what happened, ” the Police Chief explained.
