House Of Representatives Aspirant In Nasarawa Empowers Wido

A House of Representatives aspirant in Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency of Nasarawa State, Beauty Sudar Aliyu, has empowered some widows and the less privileged with sewing machines and cash gifts. 

Also, rice and clothing materials worth millions of naira were distributed to the beneficiaries drawn across the Federal Constituency. 

The items were distributed during a programme tagged 'Widows Empowerment Outreach' held at Akwanga on Saturday. 

Speaking during the event, Ambassador Beauty stated that it was not until one is blessed beyond measure before one could consider helping others. 

The aspirant explained that her passion is to put smiles on the faces of her people and to financially equip women and the less privileged most especially in becoming self-reliant. 

She assured women and the less privileged of better days ahead if elected in the 2023 general elections to represent the constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly (NASS). 

“I will do more and they will see a lot of positive changes if elected. 

“I want to assure the electorates, most especially the women of better days ahead and by God’s grace, I will do more than what I have been doing before to change their lives positively,’’ she assured. 

Also speaking during the event, Reverend Samson Chuga commended the donor for sharing with widows and the less privileged at these difficult times. 

Chuga who is the Vice Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Nasarawa State prayed to God Almighty to reward her abundantly. 

The event had in attendance dignitaries across the constituency notably Senator Yusuf Nagogo, Honourable Aisha Mbaka, Honourable Zainab Ali Dabo and the Jakadan Wamba, Honourable Jeremiah J. Umaru. 

Others include Chief Yakubu Adamu (rep. Chim Nku), Mallam Hassan Mohammed Kwara, Honourable Esther Wamu, Chief Moses Agbakuza, HRH Alhaji Ali Sule (Hakimi Gudi), Honourable Theresa Ja'afaru and Alhaji Rabo Abdullahi.
