Nater Agber, Queen Ahyi, and campaign Director Tarkende
An aspirant for the Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency seat at the House of Representatives, Jerry Nater Agber, on Thursday, visited Queen Ahyi, a victim of abuse and molestation by the Hunters and Forest Security Guards in Makudi.
Agber stated that such an action was uncalled for in a civilized country like ours and should be frowned at by members of the general public and the government.
The Makurdi/Guma aspirant also assured the victim of his continued support to enable her to regain her confidence, noting that he understood the emotional trauma she would be facing from the action.
The Amber Campaign Director, Jacob Tarkende called on the victim not to be intimidated by the incident but rather to pose as a survivor of a failed state.
Miss Ahyi stated that she was shocked and terrified by the action of the group which was recently tagged as illegal and called for its prescription.
She noted that the aspirant's visit had further boosted her confidence as the shock from the incident was still overwhelming to her even though she appreciated his timely visit to identify with her.
