Hollywood screen diva Angelina Jolie had an unpleasant experience with disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and fought with her ex-husband Brad Pitt when he got involved with him.
Jolie made the revelation in a recent interview with The Guardian when she was asked about the first time she "felt sufficiently disrespected in the industry to tell somebody to f*ck off."
Her response was: "Erm… well, no surprise, Harvey Weinstein. I worked with him when I was young", implying that he wanted to molest her but she successfully evaded him.

"If you get yourself out of the room, you think he attempted but didn’t, right? The truth is that the attempt and the experience of the attempt is an assault", she said.
Shedding more light on the experience, Jolie added, "It was beyond a pass, it was something I had to escape. I stayed away and warned people about him.

"I remember telling Jonny, my first husband, who was great about it, to spread the word to other guys – don’t let girls go alone with him. I was asked to do The Aviator, but I said no because he was involved. I never associated or worked with him again. It was hard for me when Brad did.”
Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt played the lead role in the film Inglourious Basterds (2009) which was produced by The Weinstein Company and also had another of his films, Killing Them Softly, distributed by the entertainment outfit.
On Brad working with Weinstein, the actress said, "We fought about it. Of course it hurt" and mentioned that her former husband continued to work with Weinstein even after he became aware of her experience.
It is important to note that Jolie's disclosure captures events that took place years before the women of the #MeToo movement came forward and told the world what they had gone through in the hands of Weinstein.
