How Banks, Fraudsters Are Using My Name To Defraud People

Singer Peter Okoye a.k.a. Mr. P has cried foul over banks aiding fraudsters to defraud people with the use of his name.

The artiste made the claim on his Instagram account on Friday, expressing his anger and threatening to expose the banks involved.

According to Mr. P, banks allow customers to open an account with his name without the necessary means of identification or utility bill to align with the address of the person.

He revealed that he was going to sue the banks for damages and he would name them soon enough, sharing a screenshot of an amount of money being transferred to an account with his name.

Mr P

"Enough is Enough!!! This is 2022", he wrote. "I will soon start calling some banks out! It’s either it’s an inside job or otherwise! I have a name to protect here and save some of these innocent victims!

"So get ready for me and my legal team! How can banks allow someone to open an account in the name of PETER OKOYE PSQUARE without valid means of identification, no biometrics, no BVN, no verified address, or even utility bill to correspond with the address of the account owner?

"Now they are using my name to scam innocent people! I am suing these Banks for damages and calling them out soon!"
