How Chelsea could line-up against giant killers Crystal Pala

Chelsea would be at home to Crystal Palace as action returns in the Premier League after Boxing Day fixtures. Mauricio Pochettino is supposed to make certain personnel alterations to his side ahead of Crystal Palace's visit to Stamford Bridge.

The trio of Lesley Ugochukwu, Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer could be missing after coming out with different issues in the 2-1 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Ugochukwu appears to be out for a long time with hamstring problem despite his return from a muscle issue.

Meanwhile former Manchester City duo Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling would be absent from this match having picked up their fifth yellow cards of the season.

Moises Caicedo will likely start in place of Lesley Ugochukwu since he's closer to returning from illness than Argentine Enzo Fernandez from a hernia problem.

Mykhaylo Mudryk looks set to feature alongside Noni Madueke with Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling serving a one-match ban.

Manager Pochettino is not expected to start Christopher Nkunku at this stage of his recovery from a knee problem.

The same should be the case for Romeo Lavia following his maiden outing from the substitutes bench after his ankle ligament damage.

And this could mean that Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja will keep their place in the team instead.

Benoit Badiashile will hope to feature at the heart of the defence with Ian Maasten an option at the right-back position since Mauricio Pochettino is cautious about featuring Malo Gusto too much in the Chelsea first team.
