How Chelsea could line-up against Sheffield United in Premie

Chelsea would be at home this weekend as newly promoted side Sheffield United visit them in the Premier League.

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino would make do without three of his players because of fresh injury concerns when they welcome Sheffield at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Chelsea's problem was not the defeat to Everton last time out but the fact that all of Reece James(hamstring), Marc Cucurella (ankle injury) and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez (knee problem) coped with injury in that particular game.

Chelsea has affirmed that all three players will be out on the sidelines meaning that they will join Trevoh Chalobah (thigh issue), new signing Lesley Ugochukwu (not specified), Ben Chilwell (thigh injury), Carney Chukwuemeka (knee problem) Wesley Fofana (knee problem), Romeo Lavia (ankle issue) in the treatment room.

Malo Gusto (tendon issue) and French striker Christopher Nkunku (knee problem) are both back in training. And Nkunku is likely to make his debut while Gusto would certainly not be risked early on. Axel Disasi will be expected to step in at right-back.

Veteran Brazil defender could return if Axel Disasi is shifted to the back line alongside Benoit Badiashile.

While Levi Colwill is primed to replace Marc Cucurella in the left-back position. The back four will be shielding goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic who would be making his Premier League. He replaces the injured Robert Sanchez as stated above.

Chelsea's defence is expected to undergo a certain alteration, but the duo of Enzo Fernandes and Moises Caicedo remain unchanged. While English midfield player is supposed to Captain the side in the absence of the injured Reece James.

Cole Palmer is expected to be the first name on the Chelsea team sheet but Striker Armando Broja and winger Mykhaylo Mudryk are uncertain to keep their places for this match.

This could mean we are going to see Cole Palmer line up alongside Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson in the Chelsea attack.

Chelsea's possible starting lineup in a 4-2-3-1 formation Scheme

Djordje Petrovic; Axel Disasi, Thiago Silva, Benoit Badiashile, Levi Colwill; Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo; Raheem Sterling, Conor Gallagher, Cole Palmer; Nicolas Jackson
