British actor Benedict Cumberbatch hosted the Saturday Night Live show on Saturday, May 7, and used the opportunity to poke fun at Will Smith's Oscars fiasco.
It was the second time the 45-year-old Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star hosted the show and in his opening monologue, he cracked a joke about being beaten by Smith.
Speaking on his role in Jane Campion's award-winning drama The Power of the Dog, Cumberbatch stated, "I didn’t win the Oscar…I was beat by Will Smith."

Reacting to the joke, the audience let out an "ooh" exclamation and the actor laughed, adding: "Oh. Not like that."
Will Smith has been banned from the Oscars for a period of ten years, a punishment the I Am Legend actor accepted without much fuss.
He will reportedly be a guest on an upcoming Netflix show.
