How Dr. Dre Was Served With Divorce Papers At Grandmother's

A private moment of mourning took a totally different turn when Dr. Dre was given divorce documents at the cemetery where he laid his grandmother to rest.

TMZ reports that the American rapper and producer was at the Los Angeles cemetery on Monday when a process server for his ex-wife Nicole Young came up to him with the divorce papers.

Sources close to the news outlet disclosed that the incident took place as Dre stood by his grandmother's casket. The server attempted to give him the documents but when it didn't happen, Dre was served in the cemetery's parking lot after the burial.

Dre reportedly recoiled in anger and refused to take the papers, leading to the process server dropping them by the deceased's gravesite. Contrasting reports from Nicole's camp say the documents were dropped in the parking lot.

The documents are said to contain payment of Nicole's attorney's fees and there is a disagreement over how much Dre was supposed to pay.

The rapper paid  $325,433 and a judge signed an order stating that he owed an aggregate of $1,550,000. Dre is of the opinion that the amount is not correct because he has paid in full. Nicole, on the other hand, feels the order is clear; her former spouse owes a balance of $1,224,567.
