Nigerian filmmaker Niyi Akinmolayan is set to do the unprecedented as he has revealed he aims to control the weather as part of his forthcoming documentary.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Tuesday, the director shared that his documentary revolves around rainmakers and that his search has taken him to the city of Benin.
Akinmolayan stated that the experiment would take the next three days and that it would be science versus tradition. He added that they would control the weather as they want.
Dishing further, he stated his love for the people of the region and revealed that he is also learning about their deities.
"My #rainmaker documentary search has led me to Benin city. Apparently, they are a lot more structured here.
"We are running the experiment for the next three days. Science vs tradition. Will we be able to control the weather as we want.
"This is going to be fun. I love Edo people Energy. Also learning about their gods", he said.
