How Ladies Feel About Dating Short Guys

After a long conversation with some friends, I realize that a larger population of girls love to date taller guys while tall guys like to date shorter girls.

Then I wonder what hope there is for short guys, and who will date the short guys if everyone loves to date the taller ones.

In a lengthy phone interview, I gathered, from six beautiful ladies, their plight on the topic #DatingAShortGuy.

Although, some say it's impossible for them to date a short guy, giving their reasons, while others said they were already in a relationship with a short guy.

Here are the responses from the ladies. Meanwhile, the names in this article have been changed to protect the identity. 

Gladis: "They are rude, proud, and authoritative. They are short and want people to place them highly. I'm short, and if people see me walking with a boy shorter than my fat self, they might just ask if that's my younger brother. Let short guys do like short girls abeg. *am out*."

Lydia: "I wouldn't date a guy my height because I'm short, and I wouldn't want to put my children at risk, plus I know the insults I endured during my secondary school days for being short.

What Insult did you endure?" 

"I was always forced to stand at the front of the assembly queue, and in front of that line self wey from JSS1-SS3 dey, I was like the third shortest. 

"It was soo bad they gave me a name *keteku" I dunno what it means in Yoruba, but I know whenever  the teacher says *keteku* the whole class will just shout *my name* lol."

Diamond: "God save our souls, wetin I wan born for God's sake? WO! I don't need aki and pawpaw in my life, and even if the short guy has money, I wouldn't because I don't want my children hearing statements like "it runs in the family blood".

Oluchi: "My boyfriend is short. I'm already dating him. I don't rest on his chest when l hug him but on his shoulder."

Blessing: "One, I'm short, I can't be producing dwarfs. Two, I love my guys taller than myself. I feel more comfortable that way. Three, I'm SHORT. Never, never, never! Hell no! they are the real devil. Dem short like maltina."

Titi: "A short temper characterizes that short people feel inferior and try to dominate due to their nature... And can be very jealous, especially when dating a tall fella."
