How Poverty Affected My Life — Adekunle Gold

Afrobeat singer Adekunle Gold has disclosed his new preference after his elevation from poverty.

In a Twitter post, the 'Orente' crooner stated that he now likes most of the things he used to criticize because he has the purchasing power.

He wrote, "Plenty things wey I dey criticize before na him I come dey like laidis. Sapa nice one."

In April 2020, the 34-year-old father of one took a trip down memory lane to the time when he wanted to study Law.

In a Twitter post, he revealed that he wrote NECO once, WAEC and GCE twice each.

Prior to when he made the revelation, the singer recalled how he initially went to science class because his friends did, but he didn't think twice before switching to art class after scoring 8 over 30 in chemistry.
