How rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs blew up Kid Cudi's car over ex

Legendary rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been accused of blowing up fellow artist Kid Cudi's car when he found out the latter was wooing his ex-girlfriend, Cassie.

The accusation is found in an abuse lawsuit filed by Cassie against Diddy on Thursday, with the singer claiming he got so furious about her relationship with Kid Cudi that he warned her he would blow up his car.

“Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway,” said the court documents obtained by Page Six.

Additionally, a spokesperson for Cudi who spoke on the allegation to The New York Times confirmed that Cassie's accusations are “all true.”

Meanwhile, Ben Brafman, Diddy's attorney, had the following words to say to Page Six: “Mr Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.

“For the past 6 months, Mr Combs has been subjected to Ms Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.

“Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”

Cassie, in the lawsuit filed in New York, alleges that Diddy trapped her in a drug and alcohol-fueled relationship, adding that he was both physically and sexually abusive towards her.

According to her, Combs, 54, forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while filming the act. Also, he repeatedly assaulted her in the presence of his staff and employees, who would all sit quietly out of fear they would lose their jobs.

“Over the years that Mr Combs abused Ms Ventura physically and sexually, she again and again tried to escape his tight hold over her life.

“Every time she hid, Mr Combs’s vast network of corporations and affiliated entities found her, and those who worked for Mr Combs’s companies implored her to return to him,” the lawsuit adds.

Speaking after filing the court documents, Cassie shared, “After years in silence and darkness. I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

Diddy and Cassie first met in 2005 and became romantically linked two years later. They had an on-and-off relationship for over a decade. They officially parted ways in 2018.
