  • Make the required payment charges by 9Mobile

The code to check BVN is *565*0#. You can use this code to check BVN on all the phone networks in Nigeria like MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9Mobile.

You can also use this code to check BVN for banks across the country such as FirstBank, Gtbank, Access Bank, Zenith Bank, Sterling Bank, Jaiz Bank, FCMB, Stanbic IBTC, Union Bank or any bank.

But to easily retrieve your BVN code online simply visit the internet portal of your bank by login into your Internet banking app. Check for where to see customer information and you will see the code displayed on your front page.

How To Register for Bank Verification Number (BVN)

For you to register for your Bank Verification Number (BVN) kindly follow the steps below:

Locate the closest branch of your bank

Go to the customer care centre and pick up the BVN enrollment form, fill and submit the form to enrol.

Ensure you enter your details correctly (Name, date of birth, phone no. etc. ) as this can affect you in future.

You will be asked to enter all your biometrics like (fingerprints, facial image capture and more..).

After that, you will be given an acknowledgement slip with a transaction ID.

After your application is confirmed, within 24-48 hours the system will generate your BVN code and send it to you via SMS.
