When you dial *556#, you'll get a Flash notification message with a summary of your airtime, Voice and Data package, and bonus balances. A comparable SMS notification message with a thorough breakdown of all active balances will also be sent to you.
In a nutshell, dialing *556# is the quickest way to check your account balance on the MTN network.
You can check your Mtn phone number by dialing *123# and following the on-screen prompts. Option 1 is selected, and it is sent to the My Tools option. Then, in My Tools, choose option 5 to request My Number.
