Qiaxin Qing, Zijiao Chen and Juan Helen Zhou from the National University of Singapore and the Chinese University of Hong Kong have recorded people's brain waves using fMRI imaging, which records tiny changes in the brain's blood flow.

In the research team's experiments, a group of participants watched videos.

While the participants watched the images shown to them, their brain waves were also recorded with an fMRI device.

These waves were then converted back to a video.

Parallelism was observed between the original images and the videos produced by artificial intelligence.
