Nine kidnapped victims have been rescued in Kaduna State yesterday, after hunters stormed and attacked the kidnappers in their abode.
It was claimed that the hunters laid an ambush and attacked the kidnappers den days after they attacked a convoy carrying travellers and security escorts along the highway.
According to Daily Post, one Malam Umaru, an hunters claimed that the hunters engaged the bandits in a gun battle, which forced them to abandon the victims at their camp.
He stressed that if the hunters are well equipped and supported, they would help in the fight against banditry in the nation.
There has been no reaction from security agencies at the time of filing this report.
