Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr recently opened up in an interview in Kenya about her unwavering belief in her future success.

According to her, she always knew she would become a superstar and worked tirelessly towards achieving that goal.

“I always believed that I'll be here. I always worked out to be here.

"I always put my position for where I am right now. I prayed to be here.

"My mind every time is that I am going to blow,” she said.

Ayra Starr revealed that her belief in herself and her abilities dates back to her childhood.

“Even when I was 10 years old, if they beat me in school, I will be like ‘Wait till I become a superstar, I'll post you’.

"I was always that annoying child,” she said with a chuckle.

The talented singer attributed her success to God and expressed her gratitude for how far she has come.

“It was always something that I believed then.

"I always expected it but God has exceeded my expectation. Above all, I am super grateful,” she added.
