Streaming service Disney Plus has announced that 'I Am Groot' will be released on August 10 right before 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's premiere on August 17.
Baby Groot himself is the focus of the animated series of shorts, with Vin Diesel reprising his role as the adorable anthropomorphic sapling's voice.
Marvel Studios previewed the new series with an official poster of Baby Groot relaxing atop one of Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) iconic Walkman headphones, which was released in a tweet.
He's resting down next to a palm tree-shaped air freshener, with two four-eyed penguin-like animals even smaller than Baby Groot looking out from behind him.
These two mischievous-looking creatures haven't appeared in any of the previous 'Guardians of the Galaxy' flicks, but they appear to have a role in the upcoming series.

Apart from the poster, Marvel and Disney haven't said much about the show, except that it will "follow Baby Groot's glory days growing up, and getting into trouble among the stars," according to Marvel.
We don't know if any other Guardians will appear in animated form in the show, or if it will solely focus on Groot (and his very limited vocabulary).
'Dug Days', 'Olaf Presents', and 'Ice Age Scrat Tales' are just a few of the short series on Disney's streaming service that follows the favourite side characters.
'I Am Groot' is the first original Guardians of the Galaxy spinoff, but it won't be the last; in December, Disney will release a live-action 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Holiday Special, which will be available exclusively on Disney Plus.
