Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, has declared solid support for Peter Obi's bid to contest the result of the recently concluded Presidential election in the court.
The flag bearer of the Labour Party had in a video said: "We were asked to go to the court. Is that not what they said? So, let's go there" days after the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as ye President-elect.
Apostle Suleman in a Twitter post said he was made aware of a video making waves on the internet where he asked people to forget going to court after the 2015 or 2019 election.
The preacher debunked the claims, maintaining he is "solidly behind" Obi's intention to address his issues with the 2023 election in court.
He added that he never spoke against seeking redress in court both secretly and in public, urging the populace to disregard such.
He wrote: "Was just told about a video of where I told people after the 2015 or 2019 election to forget about the courts is being circulated like I said it recently.
"Lol.. I am solidly behind peter obi going to court..I have never said otherwise in secret or public..disregard."
