I Didn't Make A Mistake Going To PSG — Messi

Lionel Messi has said he doesn't regret moving to the French giants Paris Saint-Germain despite scoring just one goal and suffering a defeat against Rennes just before the International break.

In an exclusive interview with France Football magazine, Messi spoke for the first time to a media outlet since joining PSG and he is convinced that he has taken the right decision.

"I didn't make a mistake in going to PSG" is the phrase that stands out from Messi's interview, which will come out in full next Saturday, October 9.

Back at Barcelona, Messi's former club, it has been one crisis after another, with Ronald Koeman's position as head coach now under serious threat.

As such, although PSG have some things that need sorting out, it is a completely different scenario to what is happening at the Camp Nou.

"Messi hid everything. He was very good and he won [us games]," Koeman said a few weeks ago.

"Of course he had good players around him, but he made the difference. Thanks to him everyone looked better. This is not a criticism, but an observation."

Since joining PSG, Messi has featured in five games in all competitions and scored one goal.
