Despite an increase in the number of recorded cases of coronavirus in the country, controversial singer, Zlatan Ibile says he does not believe in the existence of the pandemic.
Allnews reports that Zlatan said this during a live chat with singer and songwriter Bankuli.
He lamented how his London show scheduled to hold on May 10 was cancelled, after which Bankuli tried to explain that it was cancelled due to coronavirus.
"They cancelled my show in London May 10," the “Zanku” crooner said.
Responding, Bankuli said “Well it is becasue of coronavirus... ''
Interrupting Bankuli, Zlatan said corovirus does not exist, adding that he can still go to London.
"Me I don't believe in coronavirus sha...I don't believe in corona, me I can go there," he said.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night confirmed 35 new coronavirus cases in the country.
According to NCDC, 19 cases were recorded in Lagos State, 9 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 5 in Kano State and 2 in Oyo State.
As at 10:20 pm 16th April, there are 442 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
