US President Donald Trump announced that he would be leaving the hospital on Monday, claiming that he felt “better than I did 20 years ago”.
Trump spent only three days in the hospital.
He was under care at the Walter Reed Medical Centre, Washington, after he contracted coronavirus.
Trump said, “I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid,” Trump wrote.
“Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
He had said that he preferred to receive treatment at the hospital than at the White House.
