VIDEO: I Thought Only Nigerians Were Mad On Twitter — Burn

Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy has opened up about his impression of Nigerians on X (formerly Twitter), saying he thought they were the only mad netizens on the social media platform.

In a recent interview with Kiss FM in London, United Kingdom, the Ye crooner disclosed that he doesn't like people on Twitter, adding that Kenyans and South Africans share in the madness.

Not sparing Americans, Burna stated that they have their own group and singled out rapper and singer Lil Durk, who he says has his own OTF.

“I don’t like people on Twitter. I used to think it was just Nigerians on Twitter that were just mad. Then I now went to Kenya, I saw that it’s the same thing. I went to South Africa, I saw it was the same thing.

“I went to America. America, they have their own group. If you go, you’d see all of them tagged. You know how Lil Durk has his OTF? Twitter mad people for America, they’ve their own”, he dished.

Burna Boy is no stranger to controversy; his previous assertion that the Afrobeats genre lacks substance earned him a rebuke from netizens some weeks back.

While chatting with Zane Lowe in an Apple Music interview, the superstar said Afrobeats primarily serves to provide a great time for music fans.
