I've Been To Church Once, But Bible Saved Me From Troubles-

One of Nollywood’s most sought after actor, Bolanle Ninalowo says the bible saved him during turbulent times even though he was born a muslim and only been to church once.

Speaking during an Instagram live session with Mr. Porsche, Ninalowo who said he was named Azeez, said he now reads the bible a lot, as it saved him even when his family and friends could not.

According to the father of two, he has now made bible reading a norm.

“Although, I have only gone to church once in my entire life, I read the bible a lot. My name is Azeez; I was born into a staunch Muslim family.

“When I was troubled and frustrated, it was the bible that saved me, as my parents and family members couldn’t. So, I picked up the bible and it became my life manual,” he disclosed.

On the rate at which thespians go broke and ill, the actor said the individuals are to blame and not the government, due to the lack of structure in the movie industry.

“The blame should not be on Nollywood because it doesn’t have structure, it should be on the individual. You are not a victim of circumstances; you are a victim of the choices you made. A lot of them are carried away. They don’t have retirement plans.”

His Regret

Meanwhile, the actor recently opened up on his regrets having a tattoo on his arm.

Sharing a photo of him going through what seemed like a movie script, the actor wrote “The older I grow, the more peaceful and grateful I become. Life humbles me gradually as I age. I realize how much nonsense I have wasted time on. And I begin to feel the peace that flows from my decision to rise above the petty drama and distractions that don’t really matter.”

A follower thereby stormed the comment section, asking if he has any regrets drawing tattoos.

The follower identified s @omishols wrote “Wise words.. I have a question. Do you regret your tattoos? I really want to get one but I think I might regret it when I'm older.”

The father of two replied saying “yess i do as i am speechless when my son seeks for its meaning.”
