'I've Done Nothing Wrong', Femi Adesina Tells Nigerians

Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari says he has "no apologies" for being a staunch 'Buharist'.

AllNews reports that on Tuesday, Adesina further stated that Nigerians are 'lucky to have President Buhari at a time like this'.

Buhari, the COVID-19 pandemic response ‘champion’ in Africa was personally affected by the pandemic when one of his close aides, his Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, died of the disease on 17 April.

Amid the dreaded virus, Buhari and his West African peers committed to allocating “at least 15% of their annual budget to strengthen their health care systems.”

Nigerians react to Adesina's recent tweet

Meanwhile, Some Nigerians are lashing out at Adesina for his unflinching support for his principal.

Among them is Lere Olayinka, the spokesman to former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
