I Was Born To Play Black Adam — Dwayne Johnson [Video]

Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson is super proud of the project and has said that he was born to play the part.

Speaking via the recently-held DC Fandome event, the hulking Hollywood star was visibly excited to show fans a glimpse of what the forthcoming film is all about.

Before Johnson appears in the 4-minute clip, a few of his co-stars had some things to say about the production.

"I've never seen the likes of it before", former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan noted. "Having done James Bond for ten years, four films, nothing compares to this... Leading the whole charge is Dwayne Johnson."

Aldis Hodge who plays the character of Hawkman had the following words to say of the eponymous character: "He's more brutal, uncompromising, fueled by the depths of his pain."

Johnson speaking on the part says, "As you guys know, this character, this film, this universe has been a gigantic passion project of mine for a very long time.

"And I have worked so hard, worked these hands, these callouses, my fingers to the bone, because it's the kind of project that I know, comes along once in a lifetime. And the truth is, I was born to play Black Adam.

"... The film has, without question, some of the biggest action sequences I have ever been a part of. And I'm so proud and excited of our incredible team who are working away to create breathtaking holy sh*t scenes that I know you're really going to love..."
