I Will Work For Kano People — Abba Kabir Yusuf

Kano State Governor-elect, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf has pledged to work on people friendly policies to better lives of citizens.

Yusuf told BBC Hausa that he would not compromise in the fight against corruption.

He said the people of Kano have shown him unadulterated love, promising that he would not let them down.

"With the love people of Kano showed me, I was not surprised when INEC announced me as winner", he stated.

He also promised to complete the incumbent government's pending projects that would be beneficial to the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP as the duly elected Governor of Kano.
