'I Won't Tolerate Disrespect' — Toke Makinwa Fires Back At Twitter Troll

Media personality Toke Makinwa has said she would not tolerate any form of disrespect from anyone after a Twitter troll demanded to know what she does for a living and what makes her a celebrity.

UK-based Nigerian educationist and career coach, Dipo Awojide a.k.a. Ogbeni Dipo had taken to Twitter to state that any man who offers a regular lady N6 million to sleep with her is likely to use her destiny.

According to him, men only offer celebrities like Toke Makinwa, Rihanna, Naomi Campbell and other high profile people a big amount of money.

"Any man that offers you N6M to sleep with you as a regular babe still in the trenches probably wants to use your glorious destiny.

"You are not a celebrity like Naiomi Campbell, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Toke Makinwa, Anto Lekky or TBAJ.

"All that glitters is not gold. Be careful."

A disgruntled tweep identified as Ayomide was, however, not pleased with Toke Makinwa being called a celebrity.

"The way you guys abuse the word celebrity ehh. Please what makes Toke celebrity?

"Coming on Tv advising kids to marry a rich man, promoting prostitution is that what made her a celebrity? @tokstarr should never be put in the same word with celebrity. She’s just instagram famous.," Ayomide wrote.

"Kim Kardashian is a reality TV star. And she’s a global brand, socialite, model, and businesswoman. Please tell me what Toke does?"

Toke Makinwa, who was not having it, responded, saying that she is sick of the disrespect. 

Makinwa asked not to be told to ignore because doing that makes trolls run wild with their imaginary stories.

According to her, she has build her brand from scratch and would not tolerate any form of disrespect from anyone.
