Ibadan Poly Announces End Of Session, Orders Students To Go

The administration of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State has ordered its students to immediately go on holiday, announcing the end of the 2020/2021 academic session.

This was made known in a statement by the institution's registrar, Modupe Fawale on Monday.

The registrar instructed the students of the polytechnic to vacate their hostels before 4 pm on Tuesday, June 14, adding that corporate facilities in the halls of residence will be disconnected on the said date.

“Any student found violating this directive will be sanctioned accordingly.

“Parents, guardians and members of the public, particularly communities in the neighbourhood of the polytechnic, such as Apete, Awotan, Idi-iIo, Agbaje, Sango, Arola, Ariyiibi and others, are to note that students are on vacation,” she said.

Fawale stated that the polytechnic's resumption date will be announced to the public subsequently.
