ICT Expert Tasks Business Owners To Embrace Digital Technology For Growth

ICT Expert Tasks Business Owners To Embrace Digital Technolo

An information and communication technology (ICT) expert, Sam Adesoga has urged organisations and company owners to embrace digital technology and capacity building to promote corporate success.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) on Monday in Lagos, Adesoga, Principal Coach, Valuehut Limited, offered the guidance.

The skills, instincts, talents, procedures, and resources that organisations need to survive and thrive in a rapidly evolving technological world must be developed and strengthened, according to Adesoga.

He said that organisations and young entrepreneurs would have the opportunity to expand their abilities through capacity building and technology with innovation.

He added that this was not only to grow their businesses but also to solve problems and positively impact society.

“It is important to note that technology is a key driver of any country’s economy.

"It plays a significant role in solving many developmental challenges facing businesses and countries.

“Training is also necessary as many innovations have been affected by disruptive technology.

“For us in Valuehut, a lot of our work has gone beyond the tech to the entire organisation, integrating business and technology as one unit.

“It means organisations need to train and retrain their employees for sustainability, growth and to make profit,” he said.

To increase success and strengthen their enterprises, Adesoga recommended that business owners take advantage of technology's potential and keep up with its latest trends.

Young business owners were encouraged to investigate technology and capacity building so they could stay on top of emerging breakthroughs and use them as legitimate main drivers for their companies.

“Nigeria has only explored one per cent of the potential of technology but there is an opportunity to improve if more people are involved.

“Young entrepreneurs can progress in their businesses through technology if fully tapped legitimately,” he said.
